The Way We Live

How we run our home has a great impact on our environment and quality of life.

New home builders have been called upon to introduce more environmentally friendly technologies into new home construction.  New homes are on average 6 times more efficient than existing homes generating over 60% less CO2 emissions - reducing energy bills by an average of more than £500 a year.  The good news is that new homes are always getting greener.

Energy efficiency and the latest environmental standards are now among the most important attributes buyers want from newly built homes, according to a YouGov survey commissioned by the New Homes Marketing Board.  What is clear is that the new home builders are working hard to achieve ‘zero carbon’ housing targets.
